Introduction to BIM
BIM Is not a software, it's a system, learn about all aspects of the future of building
BIM & Revit
Most professionals think BIM means Revit. But in reality, BIM is something much bigger — and understanding that difference can completely change the trajectory of your career. In this course, you’ll discover what BIM actually is, why information matters more than geometry, and how projects truly function behind the scenes. If you already know how to model in Revit, this course will help you understand the bigger system your work fits into, making your skills more valuable and opening doors to larger, more advanced projects.
Standards and Frameworks
You’ll go far beyond software and explore how real BIM projects are delivered in practice. Learn how architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and BIM coordinators collaborate through shared models, open standards, and structured workflows. You’ll gain clarity on topics professionals constantly hear about — but rarely fully understand — such as ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Level of Development (LOD), Level of Information Need, clash detection, Common Data Environments (CDE), and interoperability through IFC. By the end of the course, you’ll understand not only what these concepts mean, but how they directly affect your daily work.
Top down view of the BIM system
This isn’t another software tutorial filled with buttons and commands. Instead, this course teaches you how to think like a BIM professional — how to ask the right questions, understand information flow, collaborate effectively, and position yourself for growth in the industry. You’ll learn practical strategies you can apply immediately on your next project, from reading a BIM Execution Plan to participating confidently in coordination meetings. Whether your goal is to become a stronger Revit professional, move into BIM coordination, or simply understand what everyone in the industry is actually talking about, this course gives you the foundation to get there.
Master terminology
If you’ve ever felt confused by BIM terminology, standards, or industry expectations, this course will give you clarity. You’ll finally understand how BIM works in the real world — beyond marketing buzzwords and software tutorials.
BIM is management
The professionals who understand BIM beyond software are often the ones trusted with bigger responsibilities, leadership opportunities, and more complex projects. This course helps you take that next step.
Future is now
BIM is quickly becoming the standard on larger, more demanding projects worldwide. The sooner you understand how BIM truly works, the better prepared you’ll be to stand out, collaborate effectively, and future-proof your career.

Petru Conduraru has worked in the AEC industry since 2008, building experience across authoring, coordination, implementation, consulting, and BIM training. A major part of his professional growth took place in Norway, one of the world’s most mature BIM environments, where model-based delivery is an industry standard rather than an option. Today, through BIMvoice Academy, he helps professionals move beyond software skills and develop a deeper understanding of information management, open standards, and how BIM creates real value on projects. His teaching style combines practical industry experience with clear explanations that make even complex BIM concepts easy to understand and apply.
